I am Dr. Milan Trivunovic, dentist from Serbia (Europe). I got my Master's dental degree and dental technician degree from Medical University in Novi Sad. While studying dentistry I was practicing as a dental technician. I have been in the dental field since 2005.

 

I consider myself, when working with patients and in the lab, to be thorough, I treat correctly and the things I’m not sure of I gladly give to a colleague or ask for advice.  I like to read and learn about new methods in treating and try to memorize them. I always try to explain to my patients what I’m doing and explain dentistry in a nice and comforting way. I like to communicate with people and help as much as I can. I believe if you do good – the good comes back to you.

 

I’m willing to progress in my profession and I think I have a lot more to learn. My patients say I am flexible, approachable, friendly and trust worthy. When I came to the USA I desired to stay in same field that lead me to work in few dental offices and labs. That resulted in my dental lab opening.

WARRANTY

M&I DENTAL LAB TERMS AND POLICIES

 

All statements must be paid in full by the 20th of the month in which the statement is prepared. Any amounts not paid by the last business day of such month will incur a 10% finance charge per month and the account will be automatically placed on C.O.D. terms. All cases will be billed in stages and will be paid in full according to stage. All cases and items sent remain the property of M&I DENTAL LAB, until client’s account is paid in full. A minimum of $50 will be charged for returned checks. In the absent of a dispute and absent an amicable resolution the parties mutually agree to waive class actions in favor of mandatory individual arbitration of claims under limited warranty in and in accordance with the laws of California.

 

M&I DENTAL LAB WARRANTY

 

M&I DENTAL LAB warranty covers the repair or replacement of removable prosthesis and appliances.

 

WARRANTY CONDITIONS

 

1) Prosthesis must be inserted by a licensed practicing dentist.

2) Patient must adhere to semi-annual dental maintenance (cleaning and exam).

3) Dental prosthesis must be returned with model work in order for the credit to be issued.

4) Full dentures are one year (starting on the date of delivery to the dental office and only if it was delivered to the patient inside of the days we recommend) under the warranty.

5) Partial dentures are one year under the warranty (starting on the date of delivery to the dental office and only if it was delivered to the patient inside of the days we recommend).

6) Partial acrylic dentures are one year under the warranty (starting on the date of delivery to the dental office and only if it was delivered to the patient inside of the days we recommend).

7) Whaley retainer is three months (starting on the date of delivery to the dental office and only if it was delivered to the patient inside of the days we recommend) under the warranty.

8) Immediate dentures (partials and full) are not under the warranty because we consider it as temporary dentures and not permanent (In most of the cases we don’t know how the final product will look like in the patient’s mouth).

WARRANTY COVERAGE EXCLUDES:

 

1) Cash refund for prosthesis and appliances.

2) Cost incurred for removal or insertion.

3) Incidental or consequential damages; including inconvenience, lost wages, chairtime or pain and suffering.

4) Repairs resulting from accident neglect, abuse, failure of supported tooth or tissues structures, improper adjustments or dental hygiene.

5) M&I lab is not liable for any removable prosthesis that has not been appropriately fitted prior to process.

6) Repairs, relines, temporaries, immediate full and partial dentures, appliances partially or completely fabricated by another lab other than M&I lab.

 

* Warranty begins on delivery date. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, whether expressed or implied and may not be modified by any agent, employee, representative or distributer of M&I lab.

* All prices are subject to change without notice and are quoted as one stage. Some products are subject to additional fees.

* All discounts will be applied to promoted products and current pricing. Discount terms are subject to change without notice.

 

 

WARRANTY AND CONDITIONS FOR CERTAIN STEPS

 

1) WARRANTY FOR CUSTOM TRAY

If custom tray is damaged during transportation we have to be informed about it the same day it was delivered. Otherwise warranty doesn’t apply. Limited warranty are 10 days after delivery day and only in case if custom tray doesn’t fit we will do new custom tray for free for which we need a new impression. If there is big discrepancy between first and second model, we will charge it again because first impression wasn’t taken properly.

 

2) WAX BITE

If wax bite is damaged during transportation we have to be informed about it the same day it was delivered. Otherwise warranty doesn’t apply. Limited warranty are 10 days after delivery day and only in case if wax bite doesn’t fit we will do new wax bite for free for which we need a new impression. If there is big discrepancy between first and second model, we will charge it again because first impression wasn’t taken properly.

 

3) FRAME WORK

If frame work is damaged during transportation we have to be informed about it the same day it was delivered. If You do any procedure (crowns, fillings, extractions, cleaning or surgery) after but not before final impression we will not redo frame work for free. Impression has to be taken minimum 1.5 months after last extraction (because of gum healing and shrinking). If not and if frame work doesn’t fit we will not redo frame work for free. If impression was taken properly with correct material frame work will be under the warranty 10 days after delivery. The reason for that is if we wait too long for frame work try-in existing teeth can move in jaw and frame work for sure will not fit. If impression was taken the proper way with proper material frame try-in was not more than 10 days after delivery and there is no big discrepancy between first and second model we will redo frame work for free.

 

4) TEETH SET-UP

If teeth set-up is damaged during transportation we have to be informed about it the same day it was delivered. If set-up is not good (wrong color, shape, size of teeth, wrong bite…) first reset is going to be free of charge. Second reset we will charge. On third reset patient has to come in the lab for solving the problem and we will charge for patient visit. Limited warranty for set-up or reset is 10 days after delivery. For partial dentures, we encourage doctors to do teeth try-in as soon as they can because if we wait too long existing teeth can move in the jaw and model of the partial denture will no longer fit.

 

5) FINAL PRODUCTS

If finalized products are damaged during transportation we have to be informed about it the same day it was delivered. If partial denture is not given to the patient 10 days after we do delivery and if it doesn’t fit (we cannot prevent the moving of existing teeth in the jaw) we will charge it again. Full denture has to be delivered 20 days after we do delivery. Otherwise denture is not under warranty. If final case doesn’t look like it was in teeth try-in step we will redo it for free (we will compare pictures). If there is any defect, color of the gums doesn’t match with prescribed color we will redo it for free. If patient change opinion about any approved step in past we will charge each step again. If there is no seal (full denture) we will do hard reline for free only if impression was taken properly (functional impression). If full denture doesn’t seat well we will do hard reline for free only if impression was taken properly and not less than 1,5 months after last extraction. Otherwise we will charge for hard reline. If partial denture doesn’t fit (there is space between resin and gums) we will redo it for free only if impression was taken properly and not less than 1.5 months after last extraction. If denture was inappropriately adjusted by doctor or was adjusted by any other person we will not redo it for free.

 

6) FINISHING ALL STEPS AT ONCE (SMALL PARTIAL DENTURES)

If small partial dentures are damaged during transportation we have to be informed about it the same day it was delivered. If denture is not delivered to the patient 20 days after we delivered it to you the case is not under the warranty. If denture doesn’t fit send us a new impression and we will redo it for free. If there is big discrepancy between first and second model, we will charge it again because first impression wasn’t taken properly. If tooth color, shape, size, the color of resin, clasp doesn’t match with prescribed we will redo it for free. Otherwise we will charge it again. If bite is wrong and denture doesn’t fit well send us a new impression and bite. If there is big discrepancy between first and second model and first bite was taken wrong, we will charge it again because first impression and bite weren’t taken properly. If denture was inappropriately adjusted by doctor or was adjusted by any other person we will not redo it for free.

 

7) CUSTOM MADE CLASP

If custom made clasp is damaged during transportation we have to be informed about it the same day it was delivered. If clasp doesn’t fit send it back to us along with old model and new impression. We will redo case for free. If there is a big discrepancy between first and second model, we will charge it again because first impression wasn’t taken properly. If color and design doesn’t match with the prescription we will redo it for free. Other way we will charge it again. If clasp was inappropriately way adjusted we will not redo it for free.

 

8) RELINE AND REBASE

If case is damaged during transportation we have to be informed about it the same day it was delivered. If there is no seal (full dentures) we will redo it for free if patient complains inside of first 10 days after delivery, warranty applies. If color doesn’t match with the prescription we will redo it for free. If case was inappropriately adjusted we will not redo it for free. If bite is incorrect (patient bite wrong way during taking impression) after reline or rebase we will not redo it for free. If You have soft reline beneath full denture You have to grind all soft reline to ensure good impression and bite.

 

9) NIGHTGUARD, BLEACHING TRAY, ESSIX RETAINER

If night-guard, bleaching tray or essix retainer is damaged during transportation we have to be informed about it the same day it was delivered. If appliance doesn’t fit well we will redo it for free. Send us new impression. If there is big discrepancy between first and second model, we will charge it again because first impression wasn’t taken properly. If there’s nothing wrong and on day of delivery everything fits fine no further warranty applies. If night-guard, bleaching tray or essix retainer is inappropriately way adjusted we will not redo it for free. Case has to be delivered 10 days after we do delivery, especially for essix retainers because we cannot prevent teeth from moving.

 

10) REPAIRS

If case is damaged during transportation we have to be informed about it the same day it was delivered. For repairs it’s really difficult to decide if warranty applies before we even got the case. Each case is different and once it’s finished we’ll make a decision if warranty applies or not and You’ll be notified about that.

 

11) HAWLEY RETAINER

If Hawley retainer is damaged during transportation we have to be informed about it the same day it was delivered. If whaley retainer doesn’t fit send us a new impression and we will redo it for free. If there is big discrepancy between first and second model, we will charge it again because first impression wasn’t taken properly. If whaley retainer was inappropriately adjusted by doctor or was adjusted by any other person we will not redo it for free. Retainer has to be delivered 10 days after we do delivery.

12) SNAP - ON DENTURES 

If denture is damaged during transportation we have to be informed about it the same day it was delivered. If denture is not delivered to the patient 20 days after we delivered it to You the case is not under the warranty. Denture is one year under warranty only if impression was taken using impression copings and denture is made with framework, otherwise is not under the warranty.

If denture is made without framework and metal housing are attached chair-side we do consider that denture is not reliable and too weak.

Reasons for breakage:

a) Impression technic without using impression copings 
b) No framework

c) Chair side attached metal housing (Negative factors: saliva, different kind of acrylic, spreading too much holes to make room for metal housing, perforation of denture...)

d) Too long abutments, small vertical dimension, not enough space for metal housing
